Bharti Sahitya Parishad Hosts Book Release and Poetry Symposium in Bokaro

Bokaro: Bharti Sahitya Parishad, Bokaro, hosted a book release and poetry symposium at Sadguru Sadafaldev Ashram in Sector 5 on Saturday evening. The event commenced with a tribute to Mother Saraswati, followed by a floral offering to the portrait of late Dr. Nar Narayan Tiwari, the former General Secretary of the organization.

The first session focused on honoring Dr. Tiwari’s contributions to literature, with speakers like Sukhnandan Singh ‘Saday’, Buddhinath Jha, and Dr. Parmeshwar Bharti sharing memories and praising his dedication to the literary world. Dr. Tiwari’s daughters, Vandana Pandey and Manisha Pandey, also spoke, and the second edition of his poetry book Krantirath was released.

The second session featured a poetry symposium, beginning with Saraswati Vandana by poetess Geeta Kumari. A diverse lineup of poets, including Brahmanand Goswami, Dinesh Singh, Kanak Lata Rai, and others, presented their works on themes ranging from patriotism to social issues. The event concluded with a stirring poem by chief guest Vineet Pandey, titled Ramlala is coming to Ayodhya again, which garnered much applause.

The event was presided over by Buddhinath Jha, with Dr. Parmeshwar Bharti and Dr. Ram Narayan Singh as conductors. Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh, General Secretary of the Parishad, delivered the vote of thanks. The gathering also included prominent figures like Ram Shabd Pandey, Ashram manager Ram Dayal Sharma, and other poetry enthusiasts.
