Bokaro: Deepak Devi, a beneficiary of the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana and Tata Power Solaroof customer from Bokaro, Jharkhand, has been invited to the Rashtrapati Bhavan for the President’s ‘At Home Reception’ on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day.
President Droupadi Murmu extended this honour in recognition of Devi’s home solarization, which was achieved with a 3 kW rooftop solar plant installed by Tata Power Solar Rooftop through its trusted Channel Partner, M/s Surya Mitra.
This recognition highlights Tata Power’s commitment to expanding access to sustainable energy across India. The company’s #GharGharSolar campaign is making renewable energy both accessible and affordable, helping households reduce electricity bills and become energy independent. Tata Power Solar has reached a significant milestone in Jharkhand, with 51 MW of rooftop solar capacity installed, benefiting families across districts such as Ranchi, Dhanbad, and Bokaro.
