Arun Pathak Recognized for Outstanding Music and Literary Contributions

Bokaro: Renowned writer, journalist, and singer Arun Kumar Pathak was recognized for his exceptional contributions to literature and the arts during the 76th Republic Day celebrations. The prestigious recognition took place at the Police Line Ground in Sector 12, where Yogendra Prasad, the Jharkhand Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation, and the Excise and Prohibition Department, presented Pathak with a certificate of honor.

The event was graced by a host of dignitaries, including IG of North Chotanagpur region Dr. Michael Raj S., DIG of Coal Area Surendra Jha, Bokaro Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav, and Superintendent of Police Manoj Swargiari, alongside other officials.

Pathak, who is the President of the National Kavi Sangam’s Bokaro Metropolitan Unit, is a leading figure in the region’s cultural scene. His melodious voice has resonated at various prestigious events, such as the Rajkiya Bhairav Mahotsav and Subah-Savere, both organized by the Jharkhand Government.

In addition to his work in music and literature, Pathak is actively involved in several cultural organizations, including the Mithila Cultural Council, Sanskar Bharti, and Sahityalok. His extensive contributions to music and journalism have earned him multiple accolades, such as the ‘Sahityoday Sahitya Ratna Samman,’ ‘Mahakavi Vidyapati Sanskrit Ratna Samman,’ and ‘Vipra Gaurav Samman.’

Pathak has also been honored by the Rotary Club of Bokaro for his significant impact on journalism. Local artists and writers continue to celebrate his achievements and the lasting influence he has had on Bokaro’s vibrant cultural landscape.
