Bokaro: A vibrant Bhajan Sandhya was held on Tuesday evening at Sector 4F Surya Mandir in Bokaro to celebrate Surya Saptami. The event, organized by the Bhaskar Sevak Samiti, was a memorable occasion for the devotees as they gathered to offer prayers and participate in soulful musical performances.
The evening commenced with senior musician Ramendra Narayan Dubey leading the Saraswati and Ganesh Vandanas, setting a devotional tone for the night. The bhajan performance was enhanced by the tabla accompaniment of Pandit Shivpujan Mishra and Akhilesh Kumar, with Ramji Giri, Dubey, and Shyam Kumar adding to the melody on harmonium.
Earlier in the day, special prayers were offered to Lord Surya as part of the festival’s rituals. The event culminated with a traditional evening aarti, followed by the distribution of kheer prasad to the devotees in attendance.
The occasion was attended by several prominent members of the Bhaskar Sevak Samiti, including Dr. Yogendra Kumar Mishra, Hemant Kumar Pathak, and other committee members, who contributed to the event’s success.
