Bokaro: The cultural organization Dharohar Sanskritik Sanstha staged the Hindi play Bagiya Banchharam Ki at the Welfare Center in Chandrapura on Saturday evening, as part of the 21-day drama workshop program. The play, written by Manoj Mitra and directed by Sanjay and Sanjiv, was inaugurated by Shri Vijayanand Sharma, Senior General Manager of DVC CTPS, and Smt. Nitu Singh, Jila Parishad Sadasya of Bokaro.

The performances by Manoj Kumar (Bancharam), Santosh Kumar (Gopi), and other cast members were highly praised. Chief guest Shri Vijayanand Sharma commended the efforts to keep theater alive in the digital age and stressed the importance of continuous performances.
The play’s production involved a dedicated team, including Santovana Nigam (translator), Lakshmi Kumari and Prakash Vikrant Paswan (stage management), and various volunteers. The event was a resounding success, combining entertainment with a thought-provoking message.
