IIT-ISM Dhanbad Ranks 20th Globally in QS Mining Engineering Rankings 2025

Dhanbad: In a major academic milestone, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has climbed to 20th position globally in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 for Mineral and Mining Engineering, up from 41st last year. This remarkable leap highlights the institute’s commitment to academic excellence, with an overall score of 74.7 and a strong employer reputation score of 67.

Professor Prem Vrat, Chairman of the Board of Governors, IIT (ISM), expressed his pride in the achievement, crediting the hard work and dedication of the faculty, students, and alumni for the success.
