Bokaro: The Vedanta ESL T10 Cricket Tournament 2025 wrapped up on an exciting note, crowning its champions in a series of intense and thrilling matches.
The ESL Titans (Senior Leadership) emerged as the champions in the Senior Leadership category, while Royal Winners claimed the Women’s Championship title. In the Men’s Championship, Project XI secured the top spot, showcasing remarkable talent and sportsmanship across all teams.
Organized by the Sports Employee Resource Group (ERG), the tournament was held under the guidance of Ravish Sharma, Deputy CEO & Whole-Time Director, who served as the sponsor, and Sanjeev Tiwari, Deputy Director, DIP, as the Chairperson.
The event kicked off with a lively Jersey Reveal & Knockout Fixtures Ceremony at Karma Canteen, where senior leadership members actively participated in unveiling the team jerseys.
The official start of the tournament took place at the Archery Ground in Hundru, where players took part in a team address and an Oath-Taking Ceremony, underscoring their commitment to fair play and camaraderie.
A total of 20 teams competed in the event, with 16 men’s teams and 4 women’s teams, creating an atmosphere of excitement and friendly competition. The team selection process, involving a unique chit-picking method, added to the transparency and engagement of the event.
The tournament not only celebrated sporting achievements but also recognized outstanding contributions from key participants. Shardendu Ram Tripathi, Vinod Kumar Singh, and Md Mahmood Ahmad were named Best Commentators, while Meenu Singh was honored as the Best Scorer. Individual awards were presented to Daud Ansari as the Best Batsman (Men), Smruti Snigdha Behera as the Best Batsman (Women), Abhishek Kumar as the Best Bowler (Men), and Pallavi as the Best Bowler (Women), all of whom stood out for their exceptional performances throughout the tournament.
