Vasantotsav Music Festival in Bokaro Enthralls Audience with Melodious Performances

Bokaro: The Dhrupad Samrat Pandit Ram Vriksha Pathak All India Vasantotsav Music Festival, organized by senior musician Bachchan ji Maharaj, took place on Sunday evening at Plot No. 38A, Adarsh Cooperative Society, Sector 12 in Bokaro Steel City. The four-hour event captivated the audience with performances by both senior and emerging artists.

The program began with a ceremonial garlanding of Goddess Saraswati’s portrait, followed by a warm welcome for the artists. Senior bank officer and music enthusiast Himanshu Shekhar Mishra praised Pandit Bachchan Maharaj for creating a platform for musicians and music lovers to enjoy quality performances.

The musical event featured classical singing, light music including bhajans, ghazals, folk songs, and solo performances by child artists on tabla and guitar. Renowned musicians such as Pt. Shyam Goswami, Arun Pathak, Chandra Kant Sharma, and many others showcased their talents. Child artists Akshar Raj, Arsh Bhardwaj, and Aditya Raj presented impressive tabla performances.

The event also featured tabla performances by Pt. Bacchanji Maharaj and Raju Goswami, along with synthesizer and harmonium performances by Saday Kumar Jha, Deep Narayan Goswami, and Shankar Kumar. The program was skillfully managed by Hansmukh Pandey.
