Bokaro: The Bokaro District Unit of Sanskar Bharti, an all-India organization promoting Indian literature and fine arts, hosted a vibrant cultural program on Sunday morning to mark the Hindu New Year and Chaitra Navratri. The event was held at the Jagannath Temple premises in Sector 4.
The celebrations began with a warm welcome from Sanskar Bharti Bokaro District Unit President Amarji Sinha and General Secretary Swaroop Shekhar Pandey, who extended their wishes for a joyous Hindu New Year and Chaitra Navratri. Key attendees included Minister Archana Chaudhary, Literature Head Arun Pathak, Dance Head Rajni Padhi, Senior Musician Pandit Bachchan Ji Maharaj, and several prominent local figures.
The program commenced with the collective singing of Sanskar Bharti’s motto song, Sadhayati Sanskar Bharati, Bharate Navjeevanam. President Amarji Sinha set the tone by performing the Ganesh Vandana, followed by Arun Pathak, who presented a beautiful Maithili composition by Mahakavi Vidyapati. Pathak also led the Durga Vandana in Hindi. Prabha Mohanan Nair captivated the audience with a classical music performance, and Rajni Padhi and Sriparna Ghosh’s disciples, including Gungun Majumdar, Tanushree, Anvesh Chandra, Gyan Alankrit, and Deepika Kumari, delivered an impressive dance performance.
Pandit Bachchan Ji Maharaj and Revant Jayendra added to the occasion with their skillful tabla accompaniment, enriching the cultural atmosphere. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Swaroop Shekhar Pandey and Archana Chaudhary, who expressed their gratitude to all the attendees and the Jagannath Temple Management Committee for their support in making the event a success.
