UP: The Uttar Pradesh Samajwadi Party (SP) Media Cell has issued a stern warning to media anchors through a social media post, urging them to “behave yourself.” The warning comes amid rising tensions between the media and the party.

In the post, the SP Media Cell emphasized that anchors from all media channels should maintain professionalism and unbiased journalism. It further stated that the Samajwadi Party was not intimidated by any form of suppression and that the party was aware of the “in-office matters” of various individuals, which could be exposed publicly.

The post also criticized certain media practices, alleging that some anchors were excessively flattering BJP leaders, equating their behavior to “drinking gutter water” in an attempt to gain favor. The Samajwadi Party warned that they knew how to confront such individuals, referencing the past fate of Dainik Jagran, a prominent Hindi daily.

This statement from the SP Media Cell reflects growing tensions between the media and political figures, with the party expressing frustration over media biases and the influence of political affiliations.
