Ayodhya: In a remarkable story of perseverance and grit, Ragini Yadav, a young woman from a humble village in Ayodhya’s Milkipur Tehsil, has cleared the highly competitive UPSC exam to become an Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC), turning years of struggle into a story of triumph.
Hailing from a financially challenged family in Pure Ameer Singh Ka Purwa, Ragini’s early life was marked by poverty and repeated academic setbacks. Her father, Rambali Yadav, toils in a private job in Delhi, while her mother, Uttam Lali Yadav, manages the home under daily hardship. Despite living in a fragile kutcha house and juggling studies with responsibilities toward her younger brothers, Ragini never let go of her dreams.
After completing a diploma in mechanical engineering, Ragini faced joblessness, prompting her to switch paths—pursuing Intermediate, then B.A. and B.Ed. She topped the 2022 UP B.Ed entrance exam but continued to aim higher. While giving home tuitions and working as a part-time counselor in Prayagraj, she battled financial strain and emotional lows, but her resilience never faltered.
With support from her family, guidance from mentors, and timely help from Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav and well-wisher Arham Siddique of Pratapgarh, Ragini qualified for the UPSC exam, securing one of 159 APFC posts under the EPFO.
Ragini credits her success to the sacrifices of her parents and the belief of those who stood by her. “Pain doesn’t make you weak—it makes you strong,” she said, now a beacon of hope for thousands battling hardship.
Her success has been widely celebrated by friends and well-wishers, becoming a powerful symbol of how courage, support, and sheer determination can overcome even the toughest of circumstances.
