Ranchi: Vismita Tej, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Coal, spearheaded a pivotal review meeting on coal dispatch operations at the Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) Headquarters in Ranchi on Thursday.
The session saw the participation of several high-ranking officials, including CCL Chairman and Managing Director Nilendu Kumar Singh, Coal India Limited (CIL) Director (Marketing) Mukesh Chaudhary, Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Technical/Operations) Harish Duhan, and Senior Divisional Operations Managers Shreya Singh and Anjay Tiwari from the Ranchi and Dhanbad Divisions, respectively.
The meeting centered on strategies to improve the efficiency of coal dispatch operations and ensure a steady supply to meet national energy demands. Key discussions included overcoming challenges related to increasing dispatch volumes and enhancing consumer satisfaction.
In reaffirming its commitment, CCL underscored the importance of timely and sufficient coal delivery as a priority to support the country’s energy needs. Following the review, Tej convened a separate session with coal consumers to address their concerns and gather feedback.
