Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayaawati has expressed her anger over Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s decision to resign. BSP leader Mayaawati has labeled Kejriwal’s resignation as a political tactic and maneuvering. She also questioned who will be accountable for the countless inconveniences and problems that the people of Delhi have endured.
Mayaawati wrote in a post on social media platform X that Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation from the position of Delhi Chief Minister is indeed a political tactic and maneuvering far removed from public interest or welfare. She further questioned who will account for the numerous inconveniences and issues faced by Delhi’s citizens during his prolonged imprisonment.
Mayaawati added that it is better if political battles between the government and opposition do not become so antagonistic that they impact the country and public welfare. She recalled that BSP’s Uttar Pradesh government also faced challenges when the central Congress government obstructed development projects like the Jewar Airport and Ganga Expressway, thereby hindering public welfare and development.
