New Delhi: Bangladeshi porn star Riya Barde, who is also known as Arohi Barde, has been arrested for using a fake Indian passport to live in the country, media reports said.
The Hill Line Police in Ulhasnagar, near Mumbai, took Riya into custody following a tip-off about a Bangladeshi family living in Ambernath using forged documents. Investigations revealed that a resident of Amravati had facilitated the creation of fake passports for Riya and three of her associates to help them stay in the country illegally.
A case has been registered against Riya and four others. A search operation is underway to apprehend the remaining individuals involved.
