GNS: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Senegal President Macky Sall on the sidelines of the G-7 Summit in this southwestern French city and stressed upon “strengthening ties with an important African Partner.”
PM Modi held wide-ranging talks with Senegal President Macky Sall here and the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties in various sectors, including cooperation in combating terrorism. “PM @narendramodi met with President Macky Sall of #Senegal on the margins of the #G7Biarritz Summit,” Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
The two leaders “discussed bilateral ties, including development partnership and cooperation in counterterrorism and international fora,” he said in the tweet. India and Senegal enjoy warm and friendly bilateral relations, sharing common values of democracy, development and secularism.
