Bengaluru: Soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his speech following the setback of Vikram lander, ISRO chairman K Sivan broke down. The Prime Minister was seen hugging and consoling the Isro chief shortly after leaving the Isro headquarters following his speech. He also exchanged a few words with Sivan as the ISRO chief took time to regain his composure. ISRO’s plan to soft-land Chandrayaan-2’s Vikram module on the Lunar surface did not go as per script in the early hours of Saturday, with the lander losing communication with ground stations during its final descent.
