# 38 students qualified for the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO)
Bokaro: Four teachers of Delhi Public School Bokaro, Pravin Kumar Sharma, P Shailaja Jaykumar, Dr. Manisha Tiwari (All Vice Principals) and Anjani Bhushan (Headmaster) have been conferred as ‘Best Teacher Awards’ by nationally recognised New Delhi based Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF).
The award has been given to the teachers in recognition of their outstanding contributions of these teachers in different fields of which Pravin Sharma bagging for National Science Olympiad (NSO), Shailaja Jayakumar for International English Olympiad (IEO), Manisha Tiwari for National Cyber Olympiad (NCO) and Anjani Bhushan for International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO).
All these teachers received a citation certificate and a trophy each.
SOF conducts NSO, IEO, NCO IMO examinations in 42800 schools from over 1400 cities spread across 25 countries of the world which is done every year and seeing the meritorious contributions of these teachers of DPS School, SOF has honoured these four teachers.
While bringing laurels to their alma mater 38 students from different classes (VIII to XII) of DPS Bokaro have qualified for the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO). Altogether 177 students of the school appeared for this exam out of which 38 qualified for the final round examination which will be held next month.
Director and Principal of DPS Bokaro, Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan congratulated these senior teachers on winning the coveted award bringing respectability not only for themselves but for the school as well. She also congratulated the successful students and wished them best for the future.
