Bokaro: DPS Bokaro has been honoured with the prestigious Seven-Star Ranking Award for its exceptional efforts in adhering to the New National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The award was presented during the School Leader Conference and Star Ranking Award ceremony organized by the Center for Educational Development (CED) India Initiative in New Delhi.
At the ceremony, the award was handed over to the school by Anjani Bhushan, the Vice-Principal of DPS Bokaro, in the presence of renowned educational leaders such as Prof. Dr. Dinesh Singh, Chancellor of Kumar Mangalam University and former Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University, Dr. Shridhar Srivastava, Joint Director at NCERT, and Satish Pehal, Deputy Secretary (Skill Education) at CBSE.
Upon returning from New Delhi, the award was formally presented to Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar during a special assembly at the school on Tuesday.
Dr. Gangwar dedicated the award to the entire school family, including students, parents, and staff, and expressed his gratitude. “This achievement inspires us to work even harder,” he said, expressing hope that with continued support, the school will reach new heights and set more benchmarks in the future.
Dr. Gangwar further elaborated that DPS Bokaro is fully committed to providing high-quality, development-oriented education to students in line with the NEP. The school has strengthened its infrastructure and, this academic session, launched a Humanities faculty. The institution also offers experiential learning opportunities through innovative resources such as Virtual Reality, a Commerce Lab, an Aero Lab, and a Robotics Lab. These facilities enable students to visualize, understand, and apply theoretical concepts practically. Educational trips expand their horizons, and vocational training programs are conducted to equip students with entrepreneurial skills and self-employment opportunities.
This award recognizes DPS Bokaro’s continuous commitment to shaping the future of its students with modern, holistic education in line with the goals of the New National Education Policy.
