Governor of Bihar to Attend “Kharadi Mahotsav” Celebrating 75 Years of Rani Chandravati High School

Patna: The 75th anniversary of Rani Chandravati High School in Kharari village, Darbhanga, will be celebrated with a grand event, titled “Kharadi Mahotsav,” following approval from Bihar’s Governor, Arif Mohammad Khan.

Dr. Shoolpani Singh, National Vice President of the Indian Labour Journalist Association and heir to the Kharari royal family, extended the invitation to the Governor during a meeting at Raj Bhavan in Patna on Thursday.

Dr. Singh shared details about the historical significance of Rani Chandravati High School, Rani Chandravati Middle School, and Rameshwari Girls School, which have collectively served as pillars of education in the region for 75 years. These schools, established by the late Rani Chandravati, were the first educational institutions in the area, aimed at advancing the region’s development and providing education to both boys and girls.

Dr. Singh invited the Governor to attend the anniversary celebrations and the unveiling of a statue of Rani Chandravati. The Governor expressed his appreciation for the school’s invaluable contribution to society and gladly accepted the invitation to participate in this momentous occasion.

The event, set to take place soon, will see the participation of the school’s alumni, social workers, educationists, administrative officials, and regional dignitaries. The purpose of the celebration is to highlight the importance of education and inspire the next generation to follow in the footsteps of the visionaries who laid the foundation for the region’s educational progress.

The 75th Foundation Day promises to be a source of pride and inspiration for the people of the area and for the state of Bihar as a whole.
