New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar is set to begin a six-day official visit to the United Kingdom and Ireland today. This trip comes as India and the UK continue to strengthen their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, expanding cooperation in areas like defence, trade, security, health, and education.
During his time in the UK, Dr. Jaishankar will engage in talks with Foreign Secretary David Lammy and other senior officials to further enhance bilateral ties. His visit will then take him to Ireland, where he will meet with Foreign Minister Simon Harris and other key figures to discuss matters of mutual interest.
