RNS: Violinist Johar Ali of Rampur and Patiala Gharana, son and disciple of internationally acclaimed violinist Ustad Gohar Ali Khan, mesmerized thousands of students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro and DPS Chas with his soulful violin music of some of the most popular folk and classical music compositions on Monday.
Under the aegis of SPICMACAY, a musical extravaganza was held at DPS Chas Bokaro in which Ustad Johar Ali, the famous Indian Classical Violinist, composer of the Swatch Bharat song, and ICCR member, mesmerized the audience.
Arkodeep Das, a young Kolkata tabla player, accompanied the famous violinist.
Ustad shared his wisdom with the students after his presentation. Many students and professors attended the event to experience Hindustani Classical Music at its best.
The school gave Ustad and his musicians a gift after the performance.
Dr Hemlata S. Mohan, the chief mentor of DPS Chas, thanked SPICMACAY. She stated that pupils will appreciate Indian classical music deeply. These programs foster the next generation of artists and preserve our cultural history.
Deepali Bhuskute, DPS Chas’ officiating principal, congratulated SPICMACAY and said promoting Indian Classical Music through initiatives like SPICMACAY will inspire students to respect and maintain our nation’s rich culture. DPS Chas Memorial Secretary Suresh Agrawal complimented SPICMACAY and the artists.
Ali taught youngsters about violin history at Chinmaya Vidyalaya’s Tapovan Auditorium. According to school tradition, Chinmaya Mission Bokaro’s Acharya Swamini Sanyukta Ananda, School Secretary Mahesh Tripathi, Pracharya Suraj Sharma, Johar Ali, and Arkadeep Das opened the program.

Violinist Johar Ali told the kids that God made music. Indians have always loved music. Indian music’s soul never dies because it’s in our roots.
