Ranchi: In a grand ceremony held at the Tender Heart School’s grand auditorium in Ranchi, three exceptional teachers from Chinmay Vidyalaya in Bokaro were lauded and celebrated with the prestigious Manju Gargi Teacher Award.
The ceremony, graced by Governor of Jharkhand CP Radhakrishnan as the chief guest, saw an esteemed gathering, including Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahato and Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth as special guests.
The three distinguished educators honoured during this momentous occasion were Narmendra Kumar, Rashmi Singh, and Sarita Verma, all hailing from Chinmay Vidyalaya, Bokaro.
The Manju Gargi Teacher Award recognizes exceptional contributions to the field of education, and these educators’ dedication and commitment to their students earned them this prestigious recognition.
In his address during the felicitation ceremony, the Governor emphasized teachers’ pivotal role as guides, counsellors, and friends to their students. He highlighted how teachers instil self-belief, perseverance, and a thirst for knowledge in their students, effectively laying the foundation for their dreams and aspirations.
The governor commended these teachers for their outstanding service to society.
Notably, this felicitation ceremony also honoured 200 teachers from 67 schools across Jharkhand, paying homage to their invaluable contributions to the state’s education system.
The three teachers from Chinmay Vidyalaya received various accolades, including medals, insignia, citations, and a cash award of Rs 11,000 each.
Chinmaya Mission Bokar’s Acharya Swamini Sanyukta Nanda, School President Biswaroop Mukhopadhyay, Secretary Mahesh Tripathi, and Principal Suraj Sharma congratulated the awardees.
They expressed immense pride in their teachers’ accomplishments and emphasized the increased responsibility that comes with such honours. They called on all teachers to maintain their exceptional performance to set an example in the school and the broader society.
