Ranchi: Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan has extended an invitation to Champai Soren, the nominated leader of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) coalition, to take the oath as the Chief Minister tomorrow.
Soren has been entrusted with the responsibility to prove his majority on the floor of the House within the stipulated period of ten days, as per the governor’s directive.
Earlier in the day, Soren, accompanied by key coalition members including Alamgir Alam, Pradeep Yadav, Satyanand Bhokta, and Vinod Singh, held a meeting with Governor Radhakrishnan at 5:30 pm. During this meeting, they pressed for an expeditious formation of the government and urged the Governor to extend the invitation to the JMM coalition leader at the earliest.
This development marks a significant step in the political landscape of Jharkhand as the state prepares for the swearing-in ceremony of its new Chief Minister, Champai Soren, who will be tasked with leading the government and ensuring the welfare of the state’s residents.
