Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Arrives in New Delhi for Three-Day Official Visit

New Delhi: Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, arrived in New Delhi this evening for a three-day official visit to India. This marks Sheikh Khaled’s first visit to India in his role as Crown Prince.

Upon his arrival, Sheikh Khaled was warmly received at the airport by Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, who hosted a ceremonial welcome in his honor. The Crown Prince is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including several UAE ministers and a prominent business entourage.

During his visit, Sheikh Khaled is scheduled to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. Their discussions will focus on expanding bilateral cooperation and strengthening ties between the two nations. The Crown Prince will also pay a courtesy visit to President Droupadi Murmu and visit Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

On Tuesday, Sheikh Khaled will travel to Mumbai to participate in a Business Forum, which will bring together business leaders from both India and the UAE. The forum is set to explore new opportunities for economic collaboration and investment between the two countries.

The visit comes amid a period of significant growth in the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and the UAE, which spans various sectors including politics, trade, investment, connectivity, energy, technology, education, and culture. Sheikh Khaled’s visit is expected to further enhance these strong bilateral relations and open avenues for new partnerships in emerging fields.
