Congress is now the most corrupt party…

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a fierce attack on the Congress party, branding it the “most corrupt party” in India as he prepares for upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra. Speaking at a rally, he asserted that the Congress has strayed far from its roots, saying, “The spirit of patriotism has died in today’s Congress.”

Modi accused Congress leaders of promoting divisive rhetoric, stating, “Their language and actions insult Indian culture and faith.” He further claimed that the “most corrupt family” in the country is the Congress’s royal family.

Linking his criticism to the Ganapati festival, widely celebrated in Maharashtra, Modi criticized the Congress for alleged appeasement, citing an incident in Karnataka where a Ganapati idol was reportedly placed in a police van. He expressed surprise that even Congress’s allies remained silent on the matter, emphasizing widespread outrage over the perceived insult to the deity.
