Dhanbad: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) National President and Union Minister Chirag Paswan announced that the decision on whether LJP (Ram Vilas) will contest the upcoming elections in alliance or independently will be made by the party’s state unit. This decision will then be approved by the Central Parliamentary Committee before the election notification is issued. Paswan made this statement during LJP’s ‘Jan Aakrosh Rally’ held at the Nehru Sports Complex in Koyla Nagar, Dhanbad.
Addressing the rally ahead of the Jharkhand Assembly elections, Paswan, whose party had a 100 percent success rate with five MPs in the last Lok Sabha elections, strongly criticized the ruling Indy Alliance and Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s government. He blamed them for the deteriorating condition of the state, pointing to corruption charges that led to the Chief Minister’s jail term, which Paswan said brought shame to Jharkhand in the eyes of Bihar, the country, and even the world.
Paswan further asserted that the people of Jharkhand are ready for change and expressed confidence that a new government would be formed after the elections, with LJP (Ram Vilas) playing a significant role.
He emphasized the party’s strong support base in Jharkhand, stating that his father and LJP founder, Ram Vilas Paswan, considered Jharkhand his ‘karmabhoomi’ and envisioned a prosperous state. Chirag Paswan pledged to fulfill that vision, indicating that the party is preparing to contest the assembly elections with full strength.
