Dhanbad: In celebration of World Heart Day, a heart care mobile van dedicated to heart disease checkups and awareness was launched by Imagica Health Scan and Sahyog Trust on Sunday at Dhanbad. The van, flagged off by Municipal Commissioner Raviraj Sharma and IMA State President Dr. A.K. Singh, will provide free cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, and ECG tests.
Dr. M.K. Jha, Vijay Kumar (DGM, SBI), Deepak Abhishek (AGM, SBI), Dr. K.M. Singh from BBMKU, Ophthalmologist Dr. Jayanti Jha, and Cardiologist Dr. P.K. Singh were present as guests of honor.
Dr. Mihir Kumar Jha, Director of Imagica Health Scan, stated that free heart tests were conducted for Dhanbad Press Club members and their families at Imagica in Dhaiya starting at 11:00 AM.
Additionally, discounted heart tests will be provided for journalists and their families, followed by tests for members of the Dhanbad Bar Association, police personnel, teachers, bank employees, coal workers, and others. Test results will be sent via WhatsApp, and individuals with heart-related issues will be offered CT Angiography at reduced rates, followed by consultations with a cardiologist.
