Kanpur: Police are actively searching for a couple, Rajiv Dubey and his wife Rashmi, who have allegedly defrauded dozens of residents in Kanpur out of crores of rupees by promising to restore youth through a purportedly Israeli machine. The couple has been on the run for over a week.

Victims claim that Dubey and his wife lured them into a scheme by showcasing impressive presentations, claiming that celebrities, politicians, and athletes used the machine to maintain their youth. They alleged that the couple marketed the device as an imported solution for aging, further enticing individuals to invest in costly treatments.

According to reports, the couple also operated a network marketing company, offering discounts for those who enrolled others into the scheme. Many victims noted that the couple’s persuasive presentations made it difficult to discern the authenticity of their claims.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT), tasked with investigating the case, has begun recording statements from victims. Since the incident came to light, the police have received 20 complaint letters and continue to investigate the matter. Despite conducting multiple raids, authorities have yet to locate the fugitive couple.

As the search continues, police urge anyone with information about Dubey and Rashmi to come forward.
