Chinmaya Vidyalaya Hosts Kindergarten, Grandparents Day Celebrations

Bokaro: Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro recently hosted its annual Kindergarten Shiromani and Grandparents Day celebration, a special event that underscores the school’s commitment to Indian values, tradition, and culture. The event, held at the Tapovan auditorium, welcomed the grandparents of the students, who played an integral role in the celebrations.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Param Pujya Swamini Sanyuktananda Saraswati, along with Vishwarup Mukhopadhyay, school officials, and the grandparents. Principal Suraj Sharma expressed his gratitude, emphasizing the crucial role of grandparents in imparting wisdom and values to children. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between parents and grandparents in shaping balanced, well-rounded children.

Swamini Sanyuktananda Saraswati, the chief guest, stressed the significance of raising children in a loving, positive environment and the invaluable role of grandparents in nurturing the younger generation. She encouraged parents and grandparents to fulfill their duties with patience and discipline.

The event featured a delightful cultural program, with children from pre-nursery to class II showcasing their talents. A heartwarming dance performance, School Chale Hum, directed by Shreya Tank and Rashmi Bharti, and an emotional drama about grandparents directed by Rima Singh, Alpana Singh, and Shreya Kumari left the audience teary-eyed. Additionally, a play on tree protection, directed by Renu Shah, captured the attention of all attendees, urging everyone to clap and acknowledge the message of environmental conservation.

The event was a beautiful blend of cultural performances and heartfelt tributes, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
