RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Arrives in Kanpur for 3-Day Visit; High-Security Measures in Place

Kanpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat began his three-day visit to Kanpur on Sunday, with elaborate security arrangements implemented at Keshav Bhawan, the RSS regional office located in Caravalo Nagar.

Bhagwat is scheduled to stay in Kanpur until April 17 and will participate in a series of key meetings and events. Authorities have turned Keshav Bhawan into a high-security zone, with strict access control and continuous surveillance.

Only those with valid entry passes or names on the approved list will be allowed inside the premises. Security measures include rooftop deployments, metal detectors at all gates, and extensive CCTV monitoring. A day prior to the visit, Police Commissioner Akhil Kumar and Additional Police Commissioner conducted a thorough inspection of the venue and briefed officials on the security protocols.

In coordination with RSS officials, including provincial pracharak Shri Ram ji, the police reviewed all aspects of the security setup. Bhagwat is also expected to attend additional unscheduled events during his stay in the city.
